II. General information regarding data processing

1. Legal basis for the processing of personal data

Unless otherwise stated below, the following applies with regard to the legal basis for the processing of personal data:
If the consent of the data subject is obtained for processing of personal data, Article 6 paragraph 1(a) of the DPA (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) serves as the legal basis. The legal basis for the processing of personal data that is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party is Article 6 paragraph 1 (b) DS-GVO (Regulation (EU) 2016/679). This also applies to processing operations that are necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. If the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation to which we are subject, Article 6 paragraph 1 (c) DS-GVO (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) serves as the legal basis. If vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person make it necessary to process personal data, the legal basis for processing is Article 6 paragraph 1 (d) DS-GVO (Regulation (EU) 2016/679). If the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or of a third party and if the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the former interest, Article 6 paragraph 1 (f) DS-GVO (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) serves as the legal basis for the processing. In this case, we will inform you separately about the legitimate interests pursued by us or a third party.

2. Data deletion and storage duration

Personal data of affected persons will be deleted or disabled as soon as they are no longer necessary for the purpose of their collection, unless legal regulations require longer storage.

3. Data protection

To protect the security of your data, we use the common SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol when you visit our website. We also use suitable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in accordance with technological developments.

III. Data processing

1. Usage data

1.1 If you visit our website for information purposes only, your internet browser automatically transmits data to our web server or our hosting provider for technical reasons. This includes:

Date and time of access
URL of the referring website
Content of the request (specific page)
Access status (file found or file not found)
Browser type, version and language
Operating system and version
Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
IP address and Internet access provider
Transferred data volume

The data is stored by default in the log files of the system. We do not store this data together with other personal data of the user.

1.2 The abovementioned data is utilized to enable the use of the web pages, to ensure system security and stability and to optimize the Internet offer. An evaluation of the user's IP address is only carried out in the event of an attack on the network infrastructure. Any further processing of the data is only carried out in anonymised form for statistical purposes. This also results in our legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 paragraph 1 (f) DS-GVO (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

1.3 The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose for which they were collected. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session is ended. In the case of storage of the data in log files, this is usually after seven days at the latest. Storage beyond this period is possible. In this case, the IP addresses are automatically shortened so that it is no longer possible to assign the calling client.

1.4 The legal basis for the processing of this data is Article 6 paragraph 1 (f) DS-GVO (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

1.5 The collection of data for the provision of this website and the storage of the data in log files is essential for the operation of the website. There is no possibility of refusal in this regard.

2. The use of cookies

2.1 In addition to the abovementioned data, we use so-called cookies on our websites. These are text files that are stored on the data carrier of your end device. They make it possible to clearly identify your browser by means of a unique character string. We do not obtain direct knowledge of your identity as a result.

2.2 The purpose of the application of cookies is to simplify the use of our internet offer, to make it more user-friendly and effective overall and to improve the quality of our web pages and their contents. This also results in a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 paragraph 1 (f) DS-GVO (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

2.3 Some of the cookies that are placed are automatically deleted after closing all browser windows (so-called session cookies). Without the use of such session cookies, you would present yourself to our system as a new, unknown user on each of our pages: some of the functionalities of our pages would not be possible. Other cookies remain on your end device and serve to identify your browser on your next visit (so-called persistent cookies). These are automatically deleted after a predetermined period of time, which can vary depending on the cookie. Most browsers accept cookies by default. This can be deactivated or restricted at any time in the security settings of your browser, where you will also find the option to delete already stored cookies. For details, please refer to the help function of your browser. We would like to point out that the acceptance of cookies is the basis for some of the functions of our web pages. If cookies are not accepted, some of the functions of our web pages will not be available or will not be correctly displayed.

2.4 The legal basis for the processing of personal data using cookies is Article 6 paragraph 1 (f) DS-GVO (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

3. The use of Google Analytics

3.1 We use the web analysis service Google Analytics of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google") on the pages of this website. Google Analytics is also based on cookies. The information about your use of these web pages that is generated by the cookie is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We have added the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" to Google Analytics on all of our web pages, which ensures anonymous collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). Before the data is transferred to a Google server in the USA, in the member states of the European Union or in other states that are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area the IP address transferred with the usage information is abbreviated by Google. Only in exceptional cases will the abbreviation be applied to servers within the USA.

3.2 Google uses the transmitted information on our behalf to evaluate the web pages, to compile reports on web page activities and to provide further services associated with the use of the web page and the Internet. This data enables us to continuously improve these web pages and their user-friendliness. This also results in a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 paragraph 1 (f) DS-GVO (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

3.3 The IP address transmitted by the browser of the accessing system within the scope of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. Further information on terms of use and data protection can be found here or here.

3.4 In order to prevent the collection of data by Google Analytics, click on the following link. An opt-out cookie will be set to prevent the future collection of your data when you visit these websites: Execute objection (Opt-Out). Furthermore, it is possible to prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available on this link. You can also deactivate or restrict the storage of cookies (including the Google Analytics cookie) in the security settings of your browser at any time. There you will also find the option to delete already stored cookies. For details, please refer to the help function of your browser.

3.5 Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has subjected itself to the EU-US Privacy Shield, which is intended to ensure compliance with European data protection law. For further information, please click here: https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework

3.6 The legal basis for processing personal data using cookies for analysis purposes is Article 6 paragraph 1(f) of the DPA (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

4. Google Fonts

4.1 We use the Google Fonts font library of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). When you call up our web pages, the required fonts are loaded from a server of the provider in order to correctly display the texts and fonts on the page. In particular, your IP address and the referrer URL, i.e. the URL of our website, are transmitted to Google.
You can find more information here: https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq
and in the privacy policy of Google, available here: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de

4.2 By using Google Fonts, we can achieve a uniform presentation of our web pages and optimize their loading times. This also results in a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 paragraph 1(f) DS-GVO (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

4.3 Google also processes your personal data in the USA and has subjected itself to the EU-US Privacy Shield, which is intended to ensure compliance with European data protection law. For further information, please click here:

5. Establishment of contact

5.1 On these web pages we offer you the possibility to contact us (e.g. to send us an inquiry about the quality and/or availability of goods). This can be done either via the contact form provided by us or by e-mail. If you take the opportunity to contact us via the contact form, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to us and stored. Alternatively, it is possible to contact us via the provided e-mail address. In this case, the personal data transmitted with the e-mail will be automatically stored by us.

5.2 Personal data transmitted to us in this context will be used exclusively for the processing of the respective inquiry or, if applicable, the execution of the contract. This also results in a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 paragraph 1(f) DS-GVO (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

5.3 The data transmitted by you will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose of their collection. This is the case if the circumstances indicate that the matter in question has been conclusively resolved. Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

5.4 The legal basis for the processing of the data described in this paragraph is Article 6 paragraph 1 (f) of the DS-GVO (Regulation (EU) 2016/679). If the contact is aimed at the conclusion of a contract or if it is necessary for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures, an additional legal basis for processing is Article 6 paragraph 1(b) DS-GVO (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
